Dissemination of CSE animated Video Through Video Screening
YWEN has been actively screening animated videos on bodily autonomy, mental health,
bullying, and HIV status disclosure in rural areas through its field volunteers. These
educational videos, presented via USBs, have been shared with community members,
ensuring that crucial information reaches underserved populations. The video screenings have
sparked important conversations on sensitive topics, promoting awareness and reducing
stigma around HIV and mental health. The initiative has had a positive impact, particularly
among young people, encouraging them to take control of their health and well-being.
YWEN continues to distribute these videos and organize screenings in rural areas to broaden
access to this vital information.
In addition to the educational content, these screenings have fostered a sense of community
and solidarity. By engaging local leaders and influencers in the discussions, YWEN has
successfully created a supportive environment where residents feel more comfortable
discussing taboo subjects. This community involvement has been instrumental in amplifying
the reach of these messages and ensuring that the information is not only heard but embraced.
The collaborative efforts have also helped to build trust between YWEN and the communities
it serves, facilitating more effective and lasting change.
Furthermore, the success of the video screenings has inspired plans for future initiatives that
will build on this momentum. YWEN is exploring additional ways to leverage technology
and multimedia to address other pressing issues and to continue expanding its outreach. By
integrating feedback from the communities and adapting its approach based on local needs,
YWEN aims to enhance the effectiveness of its programs and ensure that every individual has
access to the information and support they need to lead a healthier life.
